Native to Europe

Norway spruce is extensively planted as an ornamental or for wind breaks. The limbs droop and have needles with a rectangular shape (four sided) ½”- 1” long. Cones hang down on the stem and fall from the tree after the seeds are disseminated. 
This tree grows very well in our area. 

Christmas trees: The color is good, but the needle retention is sometimes poor after cutting.
