Concolor fir has wonderful bluish green foliage. Needles are usually ½”- 1 ½” long and soft. Cones are upright and disintegrate after seeds are shed. Seed crops occur at 2 – 4 year intervals. This fir is tolerant to considerable amounts of shade.
Christmas trees: Concolor fir has a good foliage color, a pleasing natural shape, orange aroma and good needle retention.
