Native to northeast United States and Canada

Canadian hemlock will grow in full sun or full shade. It has medium to dark green needles ½” long. The miniature cones are ½” and quite attractive on thin wispy stems. Good shady area choice. 

Christmas trees: Not used as a Christmas tree in this area.
